The team at Susan Howarth & Co. Solicitors are celebrating an amazing achievement after completing St. Luke’s Hospice’s Midnight Walk - raising an impressive £1,183 for the much-loved local charity.
Dressed in full Mamma Mia spirit, our very own Super Troupers - Nicola, Sonia, Maddy, Alice, Tom, Vickie, Sue and Jaclyn - lit up Reaseheath College on Saturday 28th June, walking, dancing, and singing their way through the night right up until the early hours of the morning. With aching feet, a few blisters, and some very tired legs, they pushed through the pain for a cause that means so much to us.
St. Luke’s Hospice holds a very special place in the hearts of many at SH&Co. Several of our team have experienced the Hospice’s outstanding care first-hand - both through loved ones who spent their final days there, and through staff members who have received treatment themselves.
The dedication and compassion shown by the team at St. Luke’s is truly second to none. Their work supporting people with life-limiting illnesses across mid and south Cheshire is invaluable - not just to the patients, but to their families and friends as well.
From their specialist ten-bed unit offering pain relief and end-of-life care, to their holistic services including counselling, benefits advice, spiritual support, and complementary therapies, St. Luke’s is a lifeline to so many.
We’re incredibly proud of our team for stepping up and taking part in this year’s walk. The money raised will go directly towards supporting the Hospice’s vital services and helping local families during some of the most difficult times of their lives.
