Dealing with divorce can be hard enough without the added stress of costs escalating beyond your means.
Legal Aid is no longer available to pay the legal costs of divorce (unless there’s been domestic abuse or child abduction), so the divorce process can be even more difficult, perhaps impossible, if you are on a low income.
However, at SH&Co. we firmly believe that everyone has the right to justice and legal services, no matter what they earn.
This means providing the same highly professional divorce service and the benefits of our experienced staff, at a lower cost and with more affordable payment plan options.
If you are receiving Income Support, Income-Related Employment and Support Allowance, Income Based Job Seekers Allowance, Universal Credit or Guarantee Credit, you may be eligible for our *Fixed Fee Low Cost Divorce Service:
*To qualify for this service, you must bring to your first appointment evidence from the Benefits Agency of the benefits you get. Any letter or documentation from the Benefits Agency must not be more than 28 days old on the date of that appointment.
