John Spittle celebrates 50 years in Law

John Spittle, SH&Co.’s Consultant Solicitor, has recently received his 50th practicing certificate and now enters his 51st year in private practice.

A popular, highly accomplished and respected local solicitor, John has been a leading figure of law in Stockton Heath since 1968.

Originally establishing his own practice with a colleague (Spittle & Howard) in 1975 after qualifying as a solicitor and ultimately, in 1990, establishing Forshaw Spittles, he quickly became recognised by both clients and fellow professionals as a prolific and popular solicitor. As a result of internal growth and a series of amalgamations, FDR Law was formed and is still to this day, the largest legal practice in the history of Warrington.

Throughout his career, John has specialised in Residential Conveyancing, Wills & Probate, and Lasting Power of Attorney. A past President and Secretary of Warrington Law Society, John is also a former President of the Association of North Western Law Societies.

A significant contributor to the law profession and local business, John has developed an incredibly strong and loyal following of clients over the years and is a leading community figure.

John has been an inspiration and key influence to many in the legal profession, both young and old, across Cheshire and the North West over his 50+ years in private practice as a solicitor.

Joining us as a Consultant Solicitor in 2017, John brought his overwhelming wealth of experience and personal charm - he strengthens the team and significantly contributes to the development of key areas within the practice.
